WUWC Issues
The Western Urban Water Coalition (WUWC) works to proactively address western urban water issues. Since its creation in 1992, the WUWC has influenced legislative action and cooperative agreements that will help shape western water policy for many years.
The basic approach of the WUWC is to advocate long-term solutions and be willing to address difficult problems early in order to avoid conflicts later. This operating policy ensures the member organizations work collaboratively toward solutions to mutual problems as well as provide support when addressing region wide-issues.
